Celebrating women's achievement and raising awareness against bias. A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change. So let's all choose to challenge.
This year is like no other. As countries and communities start to slowly recover from a devastating pandemic, we have the chance to finally end the exclusion and marginalization of women and girls.
International Womens day is IWD for short, grew out of the labour movement to become a recognized annual event by the United Nations (UN). It began in 1911 in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland making this year the 110th International Women's Day.
"This year, the theme for International Women’s Day (8 March), “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world,” celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights the gaps that remain." according to IWD organizers.
We stand steadfast in our support for women and therefore have launched a special collection just for women.
